California Government Relations “Capital Day”

The Appraisal Institute’s California Government Relations Committee is pleased to bring back “Capital Day” in 2027!
The Appraisers are Headed to Sacramento!
Below is an overview of what the day might look like:
Introduction & Discussion
“Fundamentals of Grassroots Lobbying”
– Scott Dibiasio, Director of Government Relations, Appraisal Institute
– Mike Belote, Immediate Past President / Lobbyist, California Advocates, Inc.
Lunch to be Provided
Legislative Meetings
– Attendees will be encouraged to schedule meetings with their local representatives and/or staff
– Those who do not have scheduled meetings, may be eligible for a “Capital Tour” (tentative)
Wrap and Recap
– Attendees will engage in post-event no-host networking to recap their experiences
