It is a unique career where there are always opportunities to advance your professional knowledge.

So, if you are contemplating a new career as a real estate appraiser/trainee, please feel welcome to contact one or more of the Members serving on Candidates’ Guidance or the New Appraiser Professionals (NAP) committees. Or, simply join us at one of our networking events, so that we can help set you on the path to establishing yourself in this diverse and rewarding profession. We can assist with the licensing process, information on joining the Appraisal Institute, and advice on finding entry-level positions in the profession. We can offer experienced insight into the appraisal profession such as the future of the industry, residential vs. non-residential appraisal practices areas of specialization, networking, etc. We are available to answer questions you may have about getting started or point you in the right direction. Our services are available to everyone, and are completely free of charge.
